Basic Itinerary
Your adventure begins in Pokhara, the picturesque city known for its stunning lakes and breathtaking mountain views. After a warm welcome from the ReineHimalayan team, we set off on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Kande, the starting point of our trek.
From Kande, we begin our trek to Australian Camp (2,050m)—a moderate hike of around 2 hours through lush rhododendron forests and charming villages. As we reach Australian Camp, we are rewarded with panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli.
After settling into our comfortable lodge, enjoy a stunning sunset over the Himalayas, followed by a delicious Nepali meal. The crisp mountain air and peaceful surroundings make for a perfect first night in the mountains.
Wake up to a golden sunrise over the Annapurnas and enjoy a hearty breakfast before starting the trek. The trail winds through dense oak and rhododendron forests, offering glimpses of Mardi Himal through the trees.
This peaceful trek takes about 5-6 hours, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fresh mountain air and spot local wildlife. By afternoon, we arrive at Forest Camp (2,600m), where we relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Today’s trek takes us even higher, through cloud forests and alpine meadows, as we ascend towards High Camp (3,580m). The changing landscapes reveal stunning views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna range.
As we gain altitude, the air gets crisp, and the towering peaks feel within reach. By late afternoon, we arrive at High Camp, where we settle in for the night. A clear evening sky offers a breathtaking view of the Milky Way and the starry Himalayan sky.
The most exciting day of the trek! We start early for a 2-3 hour ascent to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m). As the sun rises, we witness jaw-dropping 360-degree views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
After soaking in the breathtaking views and capturing unforgettable photos, we begin our descent back to Forest Camp, retracing our steps through the beautiful alpine landscapes.
After a relaxed breakfast, we begin our final descent back to Kande. The last stretch of the trek takes about 4 hours, as we pass through vibrant forests and peaceful villages.
From Kande, a 1.5-hour drive brings us back to Pokhara, where you can unwind by Phewa Lake or explore the city’s lively atmosphere. This marks the end of an incredible journey with ReineHimalayan.
